☕ Sunday Reflections: From a Hard Week to a Soft Reset
·
This week was heavy.
Not in the dramatic, everything-is-on-fire kind of way—just the quiet weight of too much, all at once. The kind of week where every little task felt like wading through molasses, where the to-do list only grew, and I forgot what it felt like to breathe deeply.
There were moments I snapped when I wish I hadn’t, moments I showed up when I didn’t think I could, and moments I broke down behind a closed bathroom door because life just felt like a lot.
And yet—here we are. Sunday.
There’s something sacred about Sundays, isn’t there? Like the world lets out a slow exhale. The coffee tastes warmer, the silence is kinder, and the expectations are softer.
Today, I’m not trying to fix everything.
I’m just trying to be still.
To sit with my feelings, not rush past them.
To forgive myself for the messy moments.
To celebrate the quiet strength it took to just keep going.
If this week wore you down too—you’re not alone. Let’s sip something warm, light a candle, and let the gentle magic of Sunday remind us that we get to begin again.
A few things I’m holding close as I head into next week:
- Grace > perfection. Always.
- Slowness is healing. Productivity isn’t my worth.
- I don’t need to have it all together to be doing a good job.
Here’s to Sunday, to softness, to strength.
