Tuesday Truths: You’re Doing Better Than You Think, Mama
·
Hey Mama,
It’s Tuesday. Not quite the chaos of Monday, but not the calm of Friday either. It’s that middle-of-the-road kind of day—laundry is halfway done (or started three times), the kids are possibly wearing mismatched socks, and your coffee has been reheated more than once.
Let’s pause for a second. Breathe.
Because here’s the truth that no one says loud enough: you’re doing better than you think.
I know it doesn’t always feel like it. I know the mental to-do list never ends, and the invisible load of motherhood is heavier than most people understand. But look at you. You’re showing up. You’re trying. You’re loving hard. And even if it feels messy or imperfect, that’s still beautiful. That’s still motherhood.
Maybe today you needed to hear that it’s okay if dinner is frozen pizza. It’s okay if you let them watch a bit more screen time so you could have five minutes to yourself. It’s okay if the house is loud, the dishes aren’t done, and you forgot that one school form (again).
Perfection is overrated. Love isn’t.
So here’s your gentle Tuesday reminder: you’re enough.
Your kids don’t need a perfect mom—they need a present one. And you, just as you are today, are already giving them more than you realize.
